We have recorded a few snippets of the book with the idea of offering an audio book.
In the first one, “Killing Me Softly”, John talks about composers, depression and suicide. In the second one “People are dying to hear it”, John talks about the terrifying effect music can have on the listeners.
It is instantly apparent how much richer the experience is when hearing the spoken words and the music example, when compared with just reading the book. Actually hearing the songs that are being referred to, makes it so much more interesting. The recordings are only 3:38 resp. 5:25 long, so have a listen and tell us what you think. Your opinion is very valued.
